BytePlay is a browser arcade of short games and everyday tools. Open individual game pages or use the Windows 98-inspired desktop. No account or installation is required.
The games use our own TypeScript and Canvas implementations. Solitaire, Minesweeper and Blackjack use established game ideas; our contribution is the browser implementation, controls, modes and accompanying guides. These are not third-party embedded game players.
For a logic puzzle, try Minesweeper. Read its illustrated patterns before guessing: numbered cells can reveal which neighbouring squares are safe. In Solitaire, uncovering hidden cards and preserving useful columns matter more than making every available move. Its guide explains those tradeoffs.
Reaction Test measures time between a visual cue and your input. Browser and device delays affect the result, so treat it as a game rather than a medical assessment or a comparison between devices.
The tools directory includes timers, a word counter and a drawing tool, with instructions and limitations on each page. Read game strategy in the Break Room, or see what changed in the release history.
Scores and preferences stay in the current browser. Clearing site data may remove them; changing browsers does not transfer them. A network connection is needed to load pages, and offline access is not guaranteed. Controls and available space differ between phones and computers: check the instructions for the game you choose.
If a guide or control differs from what you see, contact BytePlay with the page address, device, browser and steps to reproduce the problem. Do not send passwords or private documents. Our privacy policy explains local storage, site analytics and advertising.
